Hoods

To use a dye, make sure to use it in the inventory (press 'E', 'A' or 'X' on PC, Xbox and Playstation, respectively) and then apply it to the item you want. Drag and drop is also available on PC.

You can switch between hood-up and hood-down by pressing the keybind (see the optional step in installation section), or through the inventory menu. In the second case you just have to go in your inventory, select the slot with the equipped item, and press X on your keyboard or X on your Xbox controller (square on dualshock).

To get the best experience on old gen, combine this mod with Auto Hide Weapons for Cloaks, Accessory Slot Mod and Cheap dyes everywhere.

Installation:

1. Put modHoods in your Mods folder.

2. Put dlcHoods in your dlc folder.

3. Run ScriptMerger to deal with the potential conflicts.

4. (Optional) Copy-paste the content of Mods\modHoods\Hoods.input.settings at the very bottom of Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings. By default the key is 9 on keyboard and hold right thumbstick 0. 4 seconds. You are free to change them for whatever you want.

5. You're done.
