Dark Beauclair

DarkBeauclair 

takes place in a mysterious and twisted realm centered around the Palace of Beauclair, created through dark forces tied to a forgotten ritual performed by mages in the service of Eltibald.

Explore a surreal and haunting nightmare world where Geralt uncovers the fate of a lost princess cursed by the Black Sun, follows the trail of a long-vanished mage, and confronts lingering echoes of the past.

This mod is released in Early Access after more than two years of development and over 700 hours of work. It currently contains roughly 2–3 hours of gameplay and adds a completly new region to explore.

Important Notice

This mod only uses assets already present in The Witcher 3. No completely new assets have been created, aside from recolored vegetation.

The project is still a work in progress. Some areas may feel too empty or unfinished, as the overall scope of the mod became too large for a single developer to complete at the intended level of detail.

The narrative design is nspired by FromSoftware’s Souls series and Elden Ring, relying primarily on item descriptions, environmental clues, and written texts rather cutscenes or dialoges.

I hope future updates will continue to improve the overall quality and bring the world closer to my full vision.

Feedback is always welcome and greatly appreciated. However, please keep in mind that this mod is completely free and developed in my spare time. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but please don't be too harsh, we all share the same passion for this game.

Installing

Just drag the "dlc" part of the zip-folder in your DLC folder and the "mods" folder into your mods folder in your set game folder.
