📋 About This Mod
Included with this "patch" are:
1) Removed "dark" screen effect for when adrenaline is full and you've the final talent of a tree (Adrenaline Rush for example). This effect bothered me because the final talent of a tree will give you bonus for keeping your adrenaline full, making you use finishers/special skills only tactically and when truly necessary. However, doing so would have this annoying screen effect every single time you draw your sword. It was unacceptable for me.
2) Use of finishers on locked targets. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that it seemed to be randomly choosing which enemy was picked for the finisher. It pretty much defeated the purpose of tactically using finishers (since FCR is much deadlier and instant kills are rarely necessary). As of now, it will first check your last locked target, if none is found, then it will rollback to the default The Witcher 2 behavior. PS: This only applies to single kill adrenaline finishers.
3) Fixed a bug causing your adrenaline to reset to zero if you didn't have a target or the target was a boss character.
4) (Optional) Fixed the instant kill chance from Ysgith Rune from 200% to 2%.
Installation:
Drop the content of the zip file into Documents/Witcher 2/UserContent and replace when prompted.
For the Ysgith Rune Fix, drop the content of the optional zip file into "The Witcher 2 Install Directory"/CookedPC and replace when/if prompted.
Compatible only with FCR2 (Full Combat Rebalance) 1. 2. Do not attempt to use it with the vanilla version, it won't end well.
