Witcher 3 Aerondight

Description:

This mod is a further developed version of my original Aerondight Unique Inspired by The Witcher 3.

The mod offers a a custom model with new textures inspired by the design of the sword in Witcher 3.

I decided not to use the original model from Witcher 3 but rather made a version similiar to one in raydess' Aerondight Replacer mod:

- includes new inventory icon (NOW also optionally compatible with Rise of the White Wolf)

- supports all vanilla sword effects (blood, oils, runes)

- offers new unique rune effects similiar to the runes in Witcher 3 when using rune stones (Perun, Svarog or Vodon)

- similiar to Witcher 3, the runes are shown when gifted by the Lade of the Lake in the cutscene

- changes do not affect any other swords in the game

- optional icon compatible with Rise of the White Wolf

- optional file for compatibility with Scabbard Mod

Installation:

- drop the data folder into your Witcher installation directory

- make sure not to have any duplicate files

- if you have any other mods installed (Flash Mod, FCR, RotWW) please delete any other files called "it_svswd_005.uti" from the respective installation directories of these mods (otherwise you might not see the new model in game)

- make sure to choose a save file before going to Black Tern Island or before having received Aerondight, otherwise the Lady of the Lake will most likely give you the one looking like the regular silver sword

- if you are having problems (e.g. crashes) make sure to patch your witcher.exe with the 4GBPatch
