Vatt'ghern ReShade

Subtle ReShade preset for The Witcher 3. Compatible with different lighting mods. More info in the installation section.

1 - Run ReShade, select your witcher3.exe and click on Direct3D 10/11/12.

2 - Select the following packages and shaders:

SweetFX - SMAA, Border

qUINT - qUINTsharp

Color effects - PD8002_Bloom

OtisFX - CinematicDOF, MultiLUT

3 - Download my preset and extract its contents to The Witcher 3\bin\x64 (overwrite MultiLUT.fx and MultiLut_atlas1.png when prompted).

4 - Start the game, open the GUI (Home button) and select Vatt'ghern ReShade.ini.

5 - Edit global preprocessor definitions and set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1.

6 - Enable Performance Mode if you aren't making any changes.

7 - To update/uninstall ReShade, repeat step1, then choose Update or Uninstall.

Shaders:

MultiLUT - Switch between six LUTs (W1-6) to alter the color grading of the preset.

qUINTsharp - Set in-game sharpness to Low or Off. Personal preference.

Cinematic DOF - Adds some dynamic DOF without being too distracting (imo) or affecting essential UI. But it comes with a noticeable performance hit even with lowered settings and doesn't always play well with subtitles. Toggle key - F11.

Border - Slight letterboxing for some "cinematic feel". UI nearly untouched. Completely unnecessary, just an option for people who like it. Toggle key - F10.
