Simple Auto Loot

A lightweight auto-loot mod for The Witcher 3 that automatically collects nearby loot without requiring constant manual interaction.

This mod was created to reduce repetitive looting during gameplay while keeping quest progression safe by excluding quest items from automatic collection.

Loot Radius

The mod scans for loot within a 25 meter radius around Geralt.

This radius was chosen because it is large enough to collect nearby loot naturally while exploring, fighting, and travelling without needing to stop at every loot source.

Why a 4 Second Scan Delay?

Earlier versions scanned much more frequently.

While they worked, aggressive scanning occasionally caused issues with the game's loot notification messages after cutscenes and world transitions.

The current version scans every 4 seconds, which provides:

  []Fewer issues with the game's loot notification system[/]

In normal gameplay the difference is barely noticeable while significantly improving reliability.

Quest Item Safety

Quest items are intentionally excluded from automatic collection.

This prevents accidental interference with quests, scripted events, and game progression.

If an item is marked as a quest item by the game, it will not be automatically looted.

Known Limitation

The mod continues to collect loot correctly after cutscenes.

However, in some cases the game's loot notification messages (the "Received Item" messages shown in the lower-left corner) may temporarily disappear after a cutscene.

If you want the loot notification messages to return immediately, simply save and reload your game.

This is only a visual/UI issue and does not affect actual loot collection.
