Icy Ocean (NEXT GEN)

For the respect of Karpfenfrosch's amount of work, the Next Gen 4. 04 version REQUIRES the original mod!

If the author updates the mod, I will gladly put down the mod.

What's the purpose?

This mod makes the archipelago ocean dangerous to swim in for immersion and realism.

The ocean will drain Stamina first, and then it will drain Vitality. Indicated by a Frenzy HUD.

To counter it, because it was made as a challenge when hunting for that underwater loot. The author made an original potion, "Skua".

This potion gives invisibility to the icy ocean but also more Frost Resistance. So it's useful in combat as well.

The recipes can be found in various containers or shops.

Require either "1 percent" or "2 percent" of the original mod.

You have choice!

Optional File: Included the "Killer Whale" version.

Require "No Skua" of the original mod.

If you wish to have them earlier or test them out, you can use the console command:

Installation

For newcomers/beginners: I invite you to read The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding

0 DON'T USE VORTEX!!

1. Install the DLC folder of the original mod

2. Install manually the mod by extracting it in your game's directory, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY Edition\Mods folder (if it doesn't exist, create one).

3. Use Script Merger to merge all scripts.

How to uninstall?

Delete both "dlc_icy_ocean" from DLC folder and "modIcyOcean" from Mods folder.

This is a scripts mod that only contains the following files:

- scripts\game\player\r4Player.ws

- scripts\game\player\states\swimming.ws

- scripts\game\gameplay\effects\gameEffectManager.ws

This is only a portion of the original mod and requires the original mod installed.
