📋 About This Mod
World changes to reflect the winner of the war. Very much WORK IN PROGRESS
The world changes to reflect the side that won the war. It automatically detects if the ending was reached, and which one, and then changes the world to reflect that.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I modified the npc voicesets, so that they will no longer comment on actions of Radovid/Emhyr/Witch Hunters etc. when it doesn't fit the ending.
Currently it's a separate file, because Redkit kept reverting my changes, so I had to save and pack them with WolvenKit for now.
I will try to integrate it with main mod in the future.
Next update will include a few bug fixes, as well as changes to noticeboards/posters. Maybe also add some stuff into the world (Witch Hunters and pyres in Velen if Radovid won, slave traders in Novigrad if Emhyr won and such). As usual, there is no timeline for this, and I will get to it when I get to it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point all the flags, items and NPCs should change to the correct ones. I still plan to change the voicesets and noticeboards/posters to match the right outcome, as well as address anything I missed. But I figured I can can share what I have now, and have it tested by a few more people. If you do, let me know in the comments how it's working for you.
Installation:
If you want to test this mod. I strongly suggest making A SEPARATE SAVE just for testing. The mod itself should not cause any major problems, but if you uninstall it, or install an updated version in the future, some objects and npcs in the world may get broken. So, make a new save, play around with the mod, and then uninstall the mod and reload older save to continue with quests.
If you have not finished the main game yet, the changes will appear once you play through the whole epilogue, and get teleported to KM after.
If you have already finished the main game, the changes should occur as soon as you load a save. I recommend fast travelling between regions immediately after you load such a save, so that the NPCs in the affected region have a chance to despawn and spawn correctly.
Compatibilty and things to keep in mind:
This mod makes a lot of changes to the Novigrad, Velen, White Orchard and Wyzima region layers. Any mods that also affect those layers will conflict.
It does break a few quests where the quests givers were members of the loosing side - the Nilfgaardian/Redanian quest givers will despawn, and you will not be able to complete the quest.
