Controller Distance Modifiers and Gather Herbs on Horseback for W3EE

The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition is a great mod. But it did neglect the people that play with controllers a little bit when it comes to the combat. As you noticed already on the comment sections, most will tell you to play with mouse and keyboard or use something complicated such as antimicro because you would be missing out the distance modifiers for the medium and long range attacks. This mod simply adds two new hotkeys for those features. This file is barely a mod. It is 12 lines of text that any moron can figure out by using logic. But the internet has made us all lazy. So if you are too lazy to figure out, download my file and have fun.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS ON THE MODS FOLDER. 

Download the file, go to your Users\Name\Documents\The Witcher 3 folder, open the input.settings file and add the text from my file on your file. Simple as that.

The hotkeys are simple.

• []Your normal attack buttons are, well... normal attack buttons. They will continue to do the short range attacks. But holding the modifier button and then pressing either fast or strong attack will change the range of your attack.

  []The medium range modifier is: A (Xbox) / X (Playstation)

• The long range modifiers is: B (Xbox) / Circle (Playstation)

  Since I assume most medium range attacks will be fast ones instead of heavy ones holding A and pressing X (X and Square for PS) seems comfortable enough.

  And since I assume that most long range attacks will be strong ones holding B and Y (Circle and Triangle for PS) also seems comfortable.

  Sure, a long range fast attack or a medium range strong attack will require the famous claw position but you are a grown up, you are playing W3EE so you shouldn't be expecting easy tasks. Think of using the claw position as a meta challenge to achieve maximum motor isomorphism and kinaesthetics. Geralt is not leveling up as you progress, you are.

  UPDATE:

  There is an optional file to add a key to pick up herbs while on horseback. Install it just like the main file.

  The hotkey for picking herbs is A (Xbox) / X (Playstation). It does not conflict with the normal hotkeys because in order to run with the horse you have to hold the button and in order to sprint you have to press the button twice quickly. So if you are on horseback and release the button for a brief moment and press it again to pick up the herbs the game will neither register that button press as a command to stop running or start sprinting.
