Better Alchemy Next Gen Edition

The introduction:

This mod is designed to improve Alchemy by changing the ''SingletonItem'' system and tags for something that feel more like Skyrim! So instead of brewing every potion once, being able to carry a maximum amount of 3 potions + 1 Mutagen Decoction of each, having to meditate to restore your potions back in stock ; now it's bringing back the interest of gathering herbs & ingredients, making the process of brewing potions occur more often, it's allowing you to carry more of each. Toxicity is there to stop you from consuming too much of each anyway. It's giving you more freedom in your Potion consumption, but still require you to think twice before you drink them because you have to make good choices to make sure you'll still have your most importants ones when it really matter. With great powers come great responsibilities. Unless you're a great alchemist who already brewed hundred of them to be prepared for every situation.

What motivated me to use it in the first place was to find a way to make it through an important battle that occurs during the story, in which there is multiple phases and a certain bug is making our potions effects wear off in the middle of this battle, when no moment allows us to meditate to retrieve our potions during that quest, it can be problematic. But what kept me with this mod is the enhanced realism! Next Gen Alchemy is a direct successor of Better Alchemy, a mod that was originally created by the great DerGoldsucher in 2017, for The Witcher 3 GOTY 1. 31. The Witcher 3 Next Gen updated so many files that this mod had to be updated from The Complete Edition's 4. 00 files to make it compatible and allow every new feature to coexist together.

About the original concept:

As the original description said, Better Alchemy is a mod that DerGoldsucher made because he was bothered by the fact that Geralt could only refill all of his potions, including oils, bombs with meditation and some alcohol.

The mod tries to make alchemy more realistic and like in the previous games, but without changing too much about the vanilla behavior. It was mainly made for personal use. Some things are probably not properly balanced yet, but feedback are welcome. Of course, the original creator is a very talented and skilled modder, while I'm a very modest one, so I can assist you when I'll have some time, but I cannot do miracles.
