📋 About This Mod
Four switchable combat stances for Geralt — Witcher, Feline, Bear and Griffin — each with unique speed, damage, defence, dodging and sign trade-offs. Includes controller/keyboard switching, stance emblems, presets and fully customisable
Bestg's Combat Stances Remastered
My first ever public mod!
It gives Geralt four distinct combat styles that can be switched instantly during gameplay.
Witcher, Feline, Bear and Griffin each change the feel of combat through different combinations of attack speed, damage, defence, movement, dodging, signs and bombs.
The aim is not to replace The Witcher 3's combat system, but to give Geralt different fighting styles for different situations. Each stance also has its own emblem and visual identity when selected.
THE FOUR STANCES
Witcher - Balanced and versatile Close to vanilla combat, but slightly more deliberate, with occasional flourishes and pirouettes.
Feline - Fast, agile and aggressive Faster swordplay, quicker dodges and rolls, and more frequent spins and pirouettes. The trade-off is lower sword damage and weaker defence.
Bear - Slow, heavy and defensive Slower movement and swordplay, harder-hitting attacks and stronger frontal defence. Heavy attacks are especially useful against shielded enemies and can create stronger staggers. Stamina still matters, and powerful enemy attacks can still stagger Geralt.
Griffin - Tactical and signs-focused Sword speed stays close to vanilla, but sword damage is reduced. Dodging and rolling remain quick, while signs and bombs become more effective.

Subtle - Keeps each stance distinct while staying closer to vanilla. Presets can be applied and then adjusted manually afterwards.
