All oils on both Swords - Any sword for any opponent

This mod reworks the oil and sword interaction system, allowing full customization of how steel and silver swords behave on hitting their unintended targets.

What this mod does :

• []All oils can now be applied to both steel and silver swords.[/]

  []Geralt no longer automatically switches between steel and silver swords based on enemy type. [/]

  []Steel swords are able to deal damage to “essence” enemies (monsters) with oils applied, depending on your configured multiplier.[/]

  []Silver swords are able to deal damage to “vitality” enemies (humans and animals), with configurable damage values both with and without oils applied.[/]

  []Silver sword durability loss is increased when hitting “vitality” enemies, with configurable values to reflect the more brittle nature of silver compared to steel[/]

  []All values can be adjusted dynamically through the mod menu. Several presets are included for quick setup.[/]

  Installation

  Unzip the archive file,

  Place modWitcherEEOils.xml into (your installation)The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc

  Place modWitcherEEOils in your mods folder.

  Add modWitcherEEOils.xml; to end of your dx11filelist.txt or dx12filelist.txt (both are located in the same folder as modWitcherEEOils.xml), either manually or by using Menu Filelist Updater

  if you update from any version below 2. 0 delete modWitcherEEOils from your mods folder (released december 2024).

    Uninstallation

    Remove modWitcherEEOils from your mods folder

    Remove modWitcherEEOils.xml from its installation folder and update your filelists
