Adjustable Camera Distance

Set the camera distance for exploring, Witcher Senses, combat and horseback, and move the camera to the left or right. Everything is in the game's options menu.

Features

• []Distance in steps of 1 m: on foot up to 9 m, on horseback up to 11. 5 m[/]

  []Camera left or right, optionally also in combat and on horseback[/]

  []Presets: Original, Recommended, Distance 5 m, Camera left, Camera right[/]

  []Changes apply right away, smooth transitions[/]

  Recommended settings

  Options > Gameplay: Exploration camera Modern, Combat camera Original, Horse camera Original.

  Installation

  • []Extract the archive into The Witcher 3 (the folder with bin and content).[/]

    open The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt and add this line at the end of both:modAdjustableCameraDistance.xml;[/]

    []Start the game and open Options > Mods > Adjustable Camera Distance.[/]

  Don't combine with other camera mods.

  Uninstall

  • []Delete the folder The Witcher 3\Mods\modAdjustableCameraDistance[/]

    []Delete the file The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\modAdjustableCameraDistance.xml[/]

    []Only for version 4. 04: remove the line modAdjustableCameraDistance.xml; from dx11filelist.txt and dx12filelist.txt[/]

  Not affected

  Dialogues, cutscenes, finishers, aiming, meditation, ladders, swimming, boats and Ciri keep the original camera.
