✦ WHY A COLLECTION ✦

Vanilla Windrose already looks beautiful — but one visual style doesn't fit every scene. A stormy night on the open sea wants different colors than a sunny tropical cove. A bossfight needs different mood than your base-building chill session.

This collection gives you five distinct presets, each hand-tuned for a specific mood. Assign a hotkey once and swap instantly between them with [/] and [ in-game.

✦ THE FIVE PRESETS ✦

The signature look of the collection. Muted colors, film grain, cold shadows, heavy vignette. Every frame looks like a still from a pirate film.

Effects: LumaSharpen, Tonemap, FilmGrain, FakeHDR, LiftGammaGain, Vignette, Levels

Best for: bossfights, dungeon crawls, dramatic screenshots, storyline moments

Mood: Pirates of the Caribbean × Black Flag × Dark Souls color grading

Performance cost: ~1-3 FPS

The most relaxing preset. Amber highlights, soft bloom on water and sails, gentle vibrance. Feels like permanent golden hour.

Effects: LumaSharpen, Clarity, Vibrance, FakeHDR, LiftGammaGain, Bloom, Vignette

Best for: sailing, base building, long exploration sessions

Mood: Valheim at golden hour × classic pirate romanticism

Performance cost: ~1-2 FPS

For players who want survival to feel real. Crushed shadows, cold blue tones, strong vignette, heavy grain. Night sailing becomes terrifying — you actually need your ship's lanterns.

Effects: LumaSharpen, Tonemap, Levels, LiftGammaGain, Vibrance, Vignette, FilmGrain, Technicolor2

Best for: night exploration, scary dungeons, hardcore survival roleplay

Mood: real black ocean at midnight, unforgiving, atmospheric

Performance cost: ~1-2 FPS

The screenshot preset. Saturated greens, crystal-blue waters, crisp clarity, soft glow. Every island becomes a postcard.

Effects: LumaSharpen, Vibrance, LiftGammaGain, FakeHDR, Clarity, Curves, Bloom

Best for: tropical exploration, screenshots for social media, casual play

Mood: Breath of the Wild × Sea of Thieves × fantasy dream

Performance cost: ~2-3 FPS

The artistic preset. Subtle cartoon edges, painterly textures, balanced colors. Concept art in motion.

Effects: LumaSharpen, Cartoon, Colourfulness, LiftGammaGain, Vibrance, FilmicPass, Vignette, FilmGrain

Best for: artistic playthroughs, screenshot portfolios, stylized storytelling

Mood: hand-painted pirate adventure book

Performance cost: ~2-4 FPS

Go to reshade.me and click Download.

Current version (April 2026): 6. 7. 3+

  []Click Select game → browse to:

  []When asked for rendering API, select Direct3D 10/11/12[/]

  []In the effect packages screen, check ALL of these:

[]Click Next → let it finish → Finish[/]

Copy all 5 .ini files from the presets/ folder into:

\R5\Binaries\Win64\

(Same folder where ReShade just installed — next to R5-Win64-Shipping.exe)

[]Launch Windrose normally from Steam or Epic[/]

[]Wait for the ReShade message (top-left, first time only)[/]
