Equip Slot Filter

Description

Click an equipment slot on the character doll and the inventory grid shows only items that fit that slot. Click the slot again to clear the filter, or just switch tabs, search, or close the inventory. The active slot glows with the same highlight the game uses for drag targets.

Installation instructions

Extract the zip to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\UnityModManager\EquipSlotFilter\ so Info.json and EquipSlotFilter.dll sit in that folder, then enable “Equip Slot Filter” in the in-game mod manager. No separate Unity Mod Manager install needed.

Main features

• Weapon slots cycle on repeated clicks: all weapons → melee only → ranged only → off

• Slots filter on plain click

• Auto-clears on tab change, search, character switch, or closing the inventory

• Shows every compatible item, including ones your stats can’t equip yet

• Character inventory and augmentations only, ship customization, cargo, and loot screens untouched.

Troubleshooting

If the mod doesn’t show up in the in-game Mods menu, enable it manually: close the game and open %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\UnityModManager\Params.xml. Inside <ModParams>, add this line (or set it to true if it’s already there):

<Mod Id="EquipSlotFilter" Enabled="true" />

Also make sure the mod files were extracted so Info.json sits at ...\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\UnityModManager\EquipSlotFilter\Info.json a nested folder (EquipSlotFilter\EquipSlotFilter\...) from unzipping is the usual culprit. Then relaunch; after that you can toggle it normally from the Mods menu.
