Crimson Madness

Disclaimer: made using AI code- and t2i- assistants. As long as mod works and does what people want/need from it - i don't care how pure-bred mod developers mad and call it AI-slop.

CRIMSON MADNESS

"Some Rogue Traders leave a mark on the Expanse. This one leaves it on the walls."

Blood fountains on every blow that lands.

.... just more blood on combat hits landed ...

Installation

1. Download and unzip the archive.

2. Copy the CrimsonMadness folder into the game's Modifications directory:

- Windows: %LocalAppData%Low\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\Modifications\

- Linux (Steam / Proton): …/compatdata/2186680/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Owlcat Games/Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader/Modifications

3. Launch the game → Mods / Modifications → enable Crimson Madness.

If it doesn't appear in the Mods list: fully close the game and add CrimsonMadness to the enabled list in OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json (same …\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\ folder; create it if missing):

{"SourceDirectories":[],"EnabledModifications":["CrimsonMadness"],"ActiveModifications":["CrimsonMadness"],"DisabledModifications":[]}

Then relaunch. Mods only load when the game starts — fully quit to desktop, not just to the main menu.
