Lingua Imperialis - Live chat translation

Through the blessings of the Omnissiah,  we have parity in understanding in a world where many languages are spoken.

This mod will translate chat messages into a specified language on the fly.

You can choose your incoming language and all other languages will be translated to that (ie your native)

You can also designate a outgoing language, which will translate everything you type into that target language

You now have the option to use '<modifier>-enter' on submit to either translate your message or not translate it

You have access to a number of possible models, each with their own pros and cons.

First we have the online models, MyMemory and Google Translate.

Advantages:

  []Can be unreliable in whether they are available[/]

  []MyMemory cannot translate to Chinese Simplified ( zh-CN ) , it will output Chinese Traditional ( zh-TW )[/]

  []All processing done on your computer[/]

  []Not subject to latency [/]

  []Come in two options, a smaller model for general usage, and a larger one for more accuracy[/]

• []Takes up a lot of drive space (600MB for the smaller, 1. 3G for the larger)[/]

  So pick your poison. If you toggle on one of the offline models, it will begin the download immediately. If you toggle the other offline model on, it will switch over the retrieval. You will have a progress meter in the bottom right.

  Note: You may have to disable your antivirus for the download

  You'lll need to select "Offline' in the model dropdown to use them, otherwise the online models are defaulted.
