Audible BACK OFF

🔊Tired of looking at your HUD Buffs to see your Back Off stacks?

Well so was I.

I created a mod that allows you to set a specific sound for each stack of Back Off gained individually.

You can toggle each Back Off stack sound individually meaning you can have a sound play on only the tenth stack of Back Off or just the fifth and ninth, etc. All 10 stacks are togglable.

🔧NEW Functionality - Dropdowns also contain custom sound files from /audio folder

The mod lets you choose a sound for each Back Off stack gained in one of two ways:

1. Use an in-game sound

• []Choose from a list of 28 in-game sounds via dropdown in the mod options.

  ✅ No additional mods or setup required ✅ Enabled by default[/]

2. 📁Use a custom sound file (Optional)

• []If you have the Audio Plugin Mod installed:[/]

  []Custom sound files placed in the audible_BACK_OFF /audio folder will appear in the mod options dropdowns.[/]

  []If you are already in-game and add a new custom sound file in the /audio

  folder, reload mods (CTRL+SHIFT+R) to update the dropdowns to also include your newly added custom sound files.[/]

  []Make sure to scroll all the way down in each dropdown to see newly added custom sound files.[/]

⚠️ Note for Creature Spawner Users

If you're using the Creature Spawner mod and have the Sound Muffler option enabled in the Psykhanium, enemy sounds will be muted. This means if you’ve set any of your Audible Back Off in-game sounds to use Plague Ogryn or Chaos Spawn sounds (from the dropdown options), they will not play in the Psykhanium while Sound Muffler is active. The mod is still working—just disable Sound Muffler to hear those Audible Back Off in-game sounds while testing.
