F-16XL Prototype 82'

Reminiscent of the YF-16 prototype, this colorful paintjob was applied to S/N 750749 for the rollout ceremony at the General Dynamics Fort Worth factory on July 2, 1982. This single seat variant of the F-16XL would go on to wear this livery for several years until it was repainted into a simple two tone grey scheme. Later on it would be leased to NASA and repainted in a slick black white and yellow scheme for the Supersonic Laminar Flow Control (SLFC) experiment conducted in the 90's. As usual shoutout to Memeolorian and Thor's excellent decal and weathering kits. by assassinAK
