Custom Phonograph Loader

A framework to load your own custom songs, as mods, and override existing phonograph tracks. - Start with the Volcanoids SDK. - Click "Create new mod". - Inside the `Data` folder of your mod, right-click and select "Import New Asset". - Select some WAV file, or some other file Unity can convert into an AudioClip. (Or convert it to a WAV or whatever; you should be able to figure this part out.) - Name the file you import like so: ModPhonoSlot_8_ The _8_ part says exactly which slot to override. There are 9 songs in the game. You must pick a number 0-8. YES, EIGHT, 8. 8. DO NOT USE 9. Learn what zero-based means and understand it's being used here. No, I don't know what order they appear in on the device. Now just build and test your mod. This mod/loader is set to load late so it should always load after default mod load orders. (And thus it should be late in the list.) Make sure, when you enable your mod and this loader, that the loader is being configured to load after yours. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES CHECK YOUR GAME'S LOG FIRST. The game log will have lines like this if all is going as planned: Custom-Audio-Loader: Looking for phonograph overrides. Custom-Audio-Loader: Loading phonograph override for slot 8: Assets/Phonograph-Override-Test/Data/ModPhonoSlot_8_.wav Lastly, just publish your mod and list this mod as a dependency. Please include which song you're overriding in your description so multiple mods conflict less. Unfortunately, there's no great way of doing this since the song list is static in the game. I may work out a better system in the future, but this works for now. Have fun! PS: Load order matters for song overrides. If two mods override the same slot, whichever loads last wins. PPS: You also have to actually have the songs you're overriding to play them. They aren't unlocked by default.
