Vein Performance Mod

A lightweight Unreal Engine performance mod designed to improve FPS, frame-time consistency, and overall performance in VEIN across both single-player and multiplayer gameplay.

Installation

• []Download the zzz_VeinPerformance.pak.zip file[/]

  []Extract the .pak file to:[/]

VEIN\Vein\Content\Paks\Launch VEIN normally.

Updating

Delete the old zzz_VeinPerformance.pak and add the new one.

Uninstallation

Simply delete zzz_VeinPerformance.pak from the Paks folder.

Suggested Settings

For a good balance between performance and visual quality, consider the following in game graphics settings:

Anti-Aliasing Method: TAA

Advanced Rendering Features (Lumen, Nanite): Off

Motion Blur: Off

Volumetric Fog: Off

Volumetric Clouds: Off

Fog Scattering: Off

Distance Field Ambient Occlusion: Off

Resolution Scale: 100%

Texture Quality: High or Ultra depending on available VRAM

View Distance: High

You don't need to set every graphics option to Low/Off to get good performance. The settings above remove several relatively expensive effects while retaining reasonable visual quality.

Compatibility

Designed for the current version of VEIN and tested in both single-player and multiplayer.

No gameplay, save, or world data is intentionally modified.

Notes

Performance gains vary by hardware, settings, and in-game conditions. The mod is designed to improve overall frame-time consistency and reduce CPU/GPU overhead rather than provide a guaranteed FPS increase.
