  Backpack Tier Summaries

  []School Backpack: A simple, cloth bag. Provides a moderate boost to max. carry weight, but its poor design and low-quality straps impose a minor penalty to comfort and movement speed.

  []Gym Backpack: A simple, cloth bag commonly used for sports gear. Provides a moderate boost to max. carry weight and offers minimal water resistance. Its light structure makes it a good initial upgrade.

  []Hiking Backpack: Large, durable backpack for long expeditions. Greatly increases max. carry weight but imposes a minor penalty to your movement speed and agility.

  []Military Backpack: Heavily armored combat pack. Offers maximum capacity and superior weather protection, but the sheer bulk and weight impose a significant penalty to your run speed.

  1. School Backpack

  []Original Role: High capacity (50) with a small speed penalty (0. 95).

  []Modded Change: Capacity is drastically reduced to 15. This sets a low bar for an early-game bag. The speed penalty is slightly increased to 0. 93 (a 7% reduction), and its Temperature Contribution is increased to 1. 5, making it a liability in warm weather.

  2. Gym Backpack

  • []Original Role: Low capacity (15) with almost no speed penalty (0. 98).

    []Modded Change: Capacity is slightly increased to 20, positioning it as a good second-tier upgrade. The Weight is reduced to 2. 0, and the Run Speed Multiplier is set to 0. 95 (a 5% reduction) to introduce a moderate penalty.

    3. Hiking Backpack

    • []Original Role: Very high capacity (100) with negligible speed penalty (0. 98). This was previously an overpowered early-game find.

      []Modded Change: Capacity is severely cut to 65, focusing the challenge on scarcity and inventory management. Water Resistance is highly improved to 0. 95, making it a reliable weather-proof option. The Run Speed Multiplier is set to 0. 95.

      4. Military Backpack

      • []Original Role: Top-tier capacity (150) with almost no speed penalty (0. 98) and low water resistance (0. 25).

        []Modded Change:

        []Capacity remains at 150 (ultimate hauler).

        []The Run Speed Multiplier is drastically lowered to 0. 75, imposing a 25% speed penalty to balance the immense storage and defense.

        []The base Weight is increased to 5. 0.

        []Water Resistance is maximized to 0. 98 (near-total protection).

      • All Blunt, Bladed, and Bite Resistances are significantly increased, making it the best defensive pack.

        Future Plans

        A future version of this mod will include increased crafting and repair balances for items.
