Uninterrupted Background Music

One of my biggest gripes with Bloodlines is the main theme being used for the menus. It gets grating across the span of a playthrough, and worse, it interrupts the awesome background music. Totally breaks my immersion...

This mod disables the main theme in menus, and re-enables BGM for almost every map.

If you discover a map that still pauses the BGM after opening the menu (see "Known issues" below for info on why this happens), I'd very much appreciate a comment. I'm putting together a list of maps that need work in this area, so sharing is immensely helpful. Thank you!

Installation

Extract to the game root directory, and overwrite when prompted.

Known issues

- Some maps with diagetic music, such as The Asylum, Sin Bin, and the Empire Hotel lobby, play their songs directly from the music file, as opposed to a

soundscheme file. Because of this, the songs are still paused when a menu is opened. This should be fixable by updating the song data in Hammer, I will try this when I have the time.

- Ambience is paused on menu open universally, and the NoPause boolean has no effect on sounds marked as "Ambient" in soundschemes. This means that background ambience is still interrupted by the menu. Not a huge deal, suggestions on how to approach this problem are welcome nevertheless.
