WARDS

Protection for the little things.

Seven talismans for seven particular annoyances of Valheim: darkness, rain, bad falls, fire, death, running out of rested time on the road, and trophies that refuse to drop.

They use your inventory, not your hands. Your utility slot stays free.

Wear the belt and the talismans hang from your hips. Keep them in your inventory and they still work. Put them in a chest and they go quiet.

The belt

Equip the belt and seven ward slots appear below your inventory. Each slot accepts one talisman of its kind.

You can arrange the talismans however you like, so the ones you want to show can hang at the front. Empty the belt before removing or discarding it.

The belt does not use the utility slot. Without the belt, the same talismans still work from your inventory.

The seven

• []Light Ward — Provides light from your inventory, but only at night or inside caves. Right-click to toggle it. Recharge it with Greydwarf Eyes.[/]

  []Luck Ward — Increases the chance of receiving trophies from hostile creatures.[/]

  []Rain Ward — Keeps rain from soaking you and speeds up drying, much like a campfire. It can be toggled on and off. Recharge it with Guck.[/]

  []Fall Ward — Saves you from lethal fall damage. A lethal fall always triggers it, regardless of the configuration. It can be toggled on and off. Recharge it with Freeze Glands.[/]

  • []Comfort Ward — Stores your last rested state and restores it once while it end away from home. To recharge it, get fully rested at home again.[/]

    []Death Ward — When lethal damage would kill you, it burns out, leaves you with a sliver of health, and grants a short period of invulnerability.[/]

    • []Fire Ward — Protects you from fire, burning, and lava. It can be toggled on and off. Recharge it with Fallen Valkyrie Feathers.[/]

      Configuration

      Press F1 to open the configuration menu. Durations, cooldowns, and volume can be adjusted there.

      Leave the key names alone unless you know exactly why you are changing them.

      Installation

      Requires BepInEx Pack Valheim and Jötunn.

      Place the mod in:

      BepInEx/plugins/Wards

      Single-player support only. Multiplayer compatibility is not claimed.

      A note from the maker

      These are not power. They do not make you hit harder or turn you into a tank. Each ward answers one specific irritation — the kind that has already stolen an evening from you.

      The answer has a price, and that price comes from the biome where the problem lives. You craft the Rain Ward after the swamp has already soaked you. You craft the Death Ward after the Mistlands have already taken a character.

      The talisman is relief you earned, not a way to skip the problem entirely.

      If the belt slots conflict with another inventory or equipment mod, please let me know.

      При надевании пояса обереги отображаются на бёдрах персонажа. Обереги, находящиеся в инвентаре, сохраняют свои эффекты. При перемещении в сундук они перестают действовать.
