Mining can get pretty repetitive when you're clearing out a large area for a build or trying to gather a ton of resources. Viking Miner is a simple mod that makes that process a lot faster.

Hit a stone and nearby stones will join the chain reaction. Hit an ore deposit and nearby ores will do the same.

The important part is that stones and ores stay separate. Mining a stone won't suddenly start breaking copper or silver nearby, and mining ore won't affect normal rocks.

  In-game toggle

  By default, press F8 to turn Viking Miner on or off.

  When it's off, your pickaxe works normally. No restart is needed.

  You can change the key in the config if F8 conflicts with another mod.

  Configuration

  The config is created here after launching the game:

  BepInEx/config/com.vikingmods.vikingminer.cfgExample:

  Enabled = true

  Chain Radius = 12

  Maximum Objects = 50

  Chain Break = true

  Toggle Key = F8Adjust the radius and maximum objects to whatever fits your playstyle. Keep them lower if you want a more controlled mining experience, or crank them up if you just want to clear a whole area.

  Multiplayer / Dedicated Server

  For single-player, just install it normally.

  For a dedicated server, install the mod on the server. It's also recommended that everyone playing uses the same version of the mod.

  Works great with Viking Tree Chopper

  If you already use Viking Tree Chopper, these two mods work nicely together.
