🔧 Expanded Mod Features

This mod introduces a wide range of graphical, environmental, and gameplay enhancements that go far beyond the game’s default settings.

Hardware Requirements

I recommend using at least an i5‑10500 and an RTX 3070+ to fully benefit from the extended rendering distances and intensified weather effects.

🌿 Advanced Rendering of Objects, Grass, and Trees

The mod does not rely solely on lodbias — it introduces deep changes to the rendering system:

Grass rendering increased to 750 units (default ~40). Normally, grass distance couldn’t be extended through console commands, so the modified DLL unlocks full rendering range.

Tree LOD culling raised to 5200 units (default ~2000).

Bushes, objects, and enemy models also render at significantly longer distances.

Effect: Standing in one place, you’ll see realistically far-reaching grass around you, and on distant islands you’ll see objects and structures that normally wouldn’t appear. Increasing the distance beyond these values made no sense — it becomes physically impossible to notice more detail.

🌊 Dangerous Storms and Larger Waves

During storms, waves become much larger, more aggressive, and behave physically correctly. Storm conditions become a genuine hazard — not just a visual effect.

🌙 Day & Night Cycle Adjustments

Shortening the night — nights are shorter

Longer the day — days last longer

Brighter nights — nights are clearer and easier to navigate

Simply set all graphics sliders to maximum in the game — the new mod functions will automatically override the old rendering mechanisms.

Today’s update adds:

Activated with the P key

Works within a 10‑meter radius

Automatically merges all item stacks in nearby chests

🔹 Workshops Automatically Pull Materials from Chests

No need to manually transfer items

Workshops automatically fetch required materials from nearby storage

📌 Simply replace the existing file in:

(your drive):\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\Valheim\\valheim_Data\\Managed

This is all you need to do — just overwrite the current file with the new one.
