📋 About This Mod

Twenty-two quality of life systems in one plugin, every single one switched off until you decide otherwise. Configure it all from an in-game menu on F1 — no config file editing, no restarts.

Description

Valheim asks a lot of small tolls. A corpse run across half the map. Ore that will not go through a portal. Twelve chests opened one after another looking for one stack of nails. None of it is hard. It is friction, and after a few hundred hours it adds up.

Unbound removes the friction you want gone and leaves the rest alone.

Every feature ships switched off. Installing this mod changes nothing until you open the menu and pick something. There is no recommended preset quietly rewriting your game. Turn on the two things that annoy you and ignore the other twenty.

Press F1 in game and that is the whole configuration story. Checkboxes, sliders and rebindable keys, applied the moment you click them. No alt-tabbing to a text file, no restarting to test a value, no separate configuration manager mod needed. The menu is built in, in English, with a Korean toggle inside it.

Client-side. You can play alongside people who have never heard of it and nothing desyncs.

Installation instructions

1. Install BepInEx for Valheim.

2. Copy Unbound.dll into your BepInEx/plugins folder.

3. Launch the game and press F1.

Nothing is enabled until you switch it on in that menu.

Uninstalling: delete the DLL. Extra inventory rows are handled by the game's own system and stay where they are. Everything else simply stops applying.

Main features

- Death — keep your inventory, your skills, and your food buffs. Each is a separate switch, so you can drop the skill loss and keep the corpse run if that is the part you actually like.

- Portals — carry ore, ingots and anything else through.

- Weight — no encumbrance, with a configurable carry limit.

- Durability — weapons, tools and armour stop wearing down. Gear that is already worn gets restored.

- Reforging — a failed reforge no longer destroys the item, it drops a level instead. An always-succeed option is there if you want the gamble gone entirely.

- Forsaken powers — every power you have claimed stays active at once. No activation key, no cooldown.

- Skills — a gain rate multiplier from 0. 1x to 20x. The level cap stays at 100.

- More rows — up to nine, using the game's own inventory size system, so the extra rows survive uninstalling the mod.

- Bigger stacks — up to 9999. Weapons and armour are left alone, because stacking them would flatten durability and quality.

- Equipment row — worn gear moves to a reserved row and picked-up loot never lands there. Items stay in the normal inventory, so nothing is lost if you remove the mod.

- Quick slots — a row becomes eight more usable slots on a modifier key, with an on-screen bar showing what is in them.

- Coloured rows — reserved rows are tinted so you can tell them apart at a glance.

- Quick stack and sort — one key dumps matching items into nearby chests, another sorts your bag. Your hotbar, quick slots and equipment row are left untouched.

BUILDING AND CRAFTING

- Craft from containers — nearby chests count as your inventory for crafting, building, upgrading and repairing.

- Feed production stations — kilns, smelters, blast furnaces, windmills, spinning wheels, cooking stations, fermenters, ballistae and shield generators pull their fuel and input from nearby chests.

- Station range — set how far a workbench reaches. The no-spawn area grows with it, so you are not trading safety for convenience.

- Structural integrity — build without supports.

- Build camera — detach the camera and fly it while holding the hammer. No more scaffolding just to see a roof joint.

- Copy everything around you and rebuild it somewhere else, with the contents intact. Chest inventories, sign text, ore sitting in a smelter, door states, crop growth. All of it comes along, because the mod copies each object's actual saved data rather than just its shape.

- The terrain comes too. The ground at the new spot is levelled to match the old one.

- You see what you are copying. Pieces highlight while you adjust the range, and you get a bounding outline at the destination before you commit.

- The original is never removed and no materials are consumed.

GETTING AROUND

- Teleport home — to the bed you last slept in. Optional cast time, cooldown and combat lock, all off by default.

- Teleport to a player — a list of who is online with a button next to each name. Requires their map position sharing to be on, because the game does not send the coordinates otherwise. The list tells you when that is the case.

- Reveal boss altars — one button marks every boss altar on your map, as if you ha
