Mixed Case Map Markers displays persistent Valheim map-marker names with real lowercase and mixed-case lettering while keeping the original Valheim marker look.

## Requirements

- BepInExPack for Valheim 5. 4. 2333 or a compatible BepInEx 5 installation

## Installation

### Mod manager

Install through your preferred BepInEx-compatible Valheim mod manager.

Extract the archive into the Valheim directory. The resulting files should be:

Valheim\BepInEx\plugins\MixedCaseMapMarkers\MixedCaseMapMarkers.dll

Valheim\BepInEx\plugins\MixedCaseMapMarkers\MixedCaseNorseLowercase-Regular.ttf

## Uninstallation

Valheim\BepInEx\plugins\MixedCaseMapMarkers

No save cleanup is required.

Version 2. 0 replaces the 1.x chat-font workaround with a custom lowercase typeface created specifically for map markers. The mod now combines that lowercase font with Valheim's own marker typeface, so uppercase letters, numbers, punctuation, and the original marker outline/backdrop remain game-native.

The custom TextMeshPro font is generated directly from the bundled TTF at runtime. No Unity AssetBundle is shipped.

The custom lowercase font is an original design for MixedCaseMapMarkers and is distributed under the same MIT-0 license.
