This build was created in normal play, with a few tweaks later on.
To build this you need BuildShare, BepInEx and SlimVML Loader. Boat sold separately!
BuildShare doesn't copy terrain correctly so this is without any saved terrain. I've extended the build downwards so that shouldn't be a problem.
Placing your longship
1) Before placing your longship with shift, remove the inwards facing beams shown in the photo below:
2) After removing the beams, place the longship roughly at the top of the center log pole (specifically targeting the normal beam right above it):
3) If the longship lands a little crooked, replace the inwards facing beams removed in step 1 since these are ment to push the longship into position (and keep it there).
Releasing your longship
This build has a series of diagonal beams at the end facing land that will push the longship out towards the water when released using the beams at the end facing the ocean.
4) To release the boat, remove both of the downwards facing diagonal beams in front of your longship (facing the water), that point towards an X-shaped beam at the center. The X-shape will destroy itself, and release your boat:
