Crafting Aegis requires 30 silver, 4 fuling totems, 10 fine wood, and 5 crystal. It is crafted and repaired in the forge.

How to use:
Your Aegis starts at 50 when equipped and regenerates to 600 over time (even if not blocking). All damage taken goes to the Aegis before you, and doesn't drain stamina. Damage is mitigated by armour and buffs before being transferred to your shield. This "tower shield" rewards the user for parrying by reducing the damage dealt to the shield significantly and launching the enemy significantly further. Be careful, as taking damage without blocking instantly breaks your Aegis regardless of health or damage taken. Taking damage past your Aegis' causes it to shatter. To re-cast your Aegis you must un-equip and re-equip your shield, or you will be left with a shield worse than a bronze buckler.
