SM2 2004 OST MOD

This mod replaces most of Ultimate Spider-Man’s in-game music with tracks from the console version of Spider-Man 2, with a few Spider-Man 1 tracks mixed in for extra variety and nostalgia.

The focus of this version is specifically on the gameplay soundtrack—music used during missions, combat, boss fights, chases, and other gameplay sections has been swapped to give Ultimate Spider-Man more of that 2004 PS2 Spider-Man atmosphere.

I tried to place tracks where they felt like a good match for the action rather than simply replacing everything one-for-one, so different missions and encounters can have their own feel while still fitting the game.

I also replaced Spider-Man’s death sound effect with the one from Spider-Man 1 as an extra nostalgic touch.

A quick backup tip: before replacing an original game file, you can simply add OG_ to the beginning of its filename. For example:

STREAMS_MUSIC. WBK → OG_STREAMS_MUSIC. WBK

That keeps the original file right in the game folder and makes restoring it easy.
