SM3 OST MOD

This mod replaces most of Ultimate Spider-Man’s in-game music with tracks from Spider-Man 3, giving the game a darker, more cinematic soundtrack across missions, fights, chases, and boss battles.

The goal was to bring some of the atmosphere of Spider-Man 3 into Ultimate Spider-Man by swapping out a large portion of the gameplay music while keeping the original game itself intact.

This version was built on top of my earlier Spider-Man 2 OST mod, so in some areas you may hear a mix of Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man 2 music. I left some of those tracks in where I felt they still worked well, so the mod ends up being more of a blended soundtrack rather than a completely pure Spider-Man 3 replacement.

The main focus is on gameplay music, including mission themes, combat sections, chase sequences, and boss encounters. Different areas have been changed to better match the tone and pacing of the action.

If you want to keep your original files safe, a quick backup method is to add OG_ to the beginning of the original filename before replacing it. For example:

STREAMS_MUSIC. WBK → OG_STREAMS_MUSIC. WBK

That way, your original file stays in the same folder and can be restored easily later.

Overall, this mod is meant to give Ultimate Spider-Man a more cinematic Spider-Man 3-inspired soundtrack, while also keeping a little bit of the Spider-Man 2 OST setup that this version was built from.

I hope you enjoy the mod!
