Officers and Sailors - Better NCOs

A complete Kriegsmarine crew hierarchy overhaul for UBOAT, connecting Ratings, Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers and Commissioned Officers to recruitment, duties, promotion, schools, uniforms and patrol progression. Stock UBOAT gives you a few named officers and a largely anonymous sailor pool. Officers and Sailors rebuilds the boat around a proper four-bracket company: Ratings -> Petty Officers -> Chief Petty Officers -> Commissioned Officers The goal is not more leaders, but the right leaders. IMPORTANT: FIRST LOAD AFTER THIS UPDATE The first launch after installing or updating can take noticeably longer than normal. UBOAT must compile this source mod and rebuild affected data before it loads. The first save load may also pause while crew hierarchy, UI and uniform resources initialize. Cache-cleaning mods can make this repeat. Deleting UBOAT's Cache, Data Sheets or Temp folders forces source mods and affected data to rebuild. IMPORTANT FOR RETURNING PLAYERS Unsubscribe and resubscribe before loading an older campaign. The rank-assignment backend was rebuilt for v1. 3. 5 and further repaired through v1. 4. 5. Some older campaigns may lose ranks or move personnel into lower brackets. Unsubscribe and allow Steam to remove the old files. Resubscribe and let the mod download cleanly. Back up your save before loading. A save file and output log help me fix problems. A downvote does not.
