The beep you hear is the structual limits based on the barrel, not on the sight. For example if you range someone who is at max barrel elevation and you try to aim up the FCS will beep because you are trying to set the barrel higher than it's elevation limit, and you may not hit the target at the lased range. _____________________ History / Details: The T-55AM2 is a modernized and upgraded version from the T-55A; it features much better armor than the previous T-55A, a better engine and a modern FCS. It's armor package features turret "brow" armor, side skirts and a thicker front hull, giving it higher survivability rate. It also comes with a Laser Rangefinder and the VOLNA Fire Control Balistics Computer, giving it incredible accuracy stationary or on the move. Ranging targets with the laser range finder is almost trivial, simply lase the target and the barrel raises automatically for you, with the ability to range manually yourself. The FCS also knows when you are canted(tank is rolled, 3rd-plane compensation basically) and it corrects it, although it does this by moving the sight rather than moving the gun right.
