Sirius Class Experimental Flying Fregate

In the coming mid-22nd century, amid a world scarred by widespread technological regression, one emerging archipelago nation has achieved a remarkable breakthrough : the recovery of critical pre-war military data from the rare data-center satellites that survived the ravages of Kessler syndrome debris, along with detailed research on experimental anti-gravity systems. Drawing direct inspiration from the navy’s proven late-generation destroyers, this groundbreaking vessel fully integrates this painstakingly rediscovered and refined technology, now brought to nearly complete maturity. The result is a true hybrid airship capable of seamless operation as a conventional surface vessel, with a landing pad for helicopters and drones. Its new miniaturised nuclear reactor liberates substantial internal volume, enabling the installation of powerful offensive systems beneath the hull and unlocking entirely new combat tactics that seamlessly blend naval, aerial, and amphibious warfare. It was created to prove that the same devastating vertical-launch firepower could be brought into the skies for missions where surface vessels or conventional aircraft simply could not reach. This vessel type is utterly without precedent in the current era, a genuine force multiplier that redefines power projection for a resource-constrained nation. With streamlined, upgraded mass-production derivatives already in development, these airships are poised to dominate the skies for years to come, serving as indispensable bridges until the nation’s engineers master the next leap : reliable orbital and, eventually, effective deep-space operations. Warning : Reposting this build, or any modification of it, to the workshop will result in reports to Steam and Flashbulb.
