Cessna O-2A Skymaster V2.5

The Cessna O-2A Skymaster is a militarized version of the civilian Cessna 337 twin-engine aircraft, built in a push-pull configuration. During the Vietnam War, the O-2A was introduced as a replacement for the old and slow O-1 Bird Dog, in the forward air control (FAC). In addition to the observation purpose it could be used as a light attack aircraft because it has some underwing ordnance hard points to hold rockets, gun pods or flares. It was used from 1967 to 2010. Arrow keys = wheel steering without engine support --Use RMouse for boost ---------------------------------------------------------- Die Cessna O-2A Skymaster ist die militärische Version der zweimotorigen, zivilen Cessna 337, welche eine Zug-und Druckpropeller Anordnung aufweist. Während des Vietnam-Krieges wurde die O-2A als Ersatz für die veraltete O-1 Bird Dog im Fliegerleitdienst (Observationsaufgaben bzw. als Forward Air Controller) eingeführt. Zusätzlich zu den Beobachtungsflügen konnte sie noch als leichtes Angriffsflugzeug benutzt werden, da sich unter den Tragflächen Montagepunkte für Artilleriezwecke befanden. Es konnten Raketen und Kanonenbehälter sowie Flares mitgeführt werden. Militärisch genutzt wurde dieser Typ zwischen 1967 bis 2010.
