📋 About This Mod
PSA: CA allowed and protected their male lead artist, Baj Singh, who sexually preyed on female employees in the company. Read about it here: https://www.gamedeveloper.com/culture/creative-assembly-accused-of-ignoring-sexual-harassment-by-key-staffer
A very annoying part of Total War Warhammer, is that when a faction has lost all their regions (even if it's a horde faction, which don't really depend on settlements), they are forced to break all their alliances and vassalages. This happens not just to the vassal, but vassal owner as well.
Made playing Beastmen very disappointing.
Now that won't happen. As long as the faction is still alive (has at least 1 army on the map), they'll still have their diplomatic agreements.
All it took was a simple db change, so it will not need updating.
Multiplayer compatible, savegame compatible, compatible with all other mods.
No Vassal Secession When All Regions Lost is a tiny database modification for a strategy game, likely Total War, that prevents all diplomatic agreements from being broken when a faction loses all its settlements. It is a small, niche utility mod with minimal endorsements and downloads, categorized under Miscellaneous.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny database change suggests a lightweight mod with minimal performance impact.
- Addresses a specific gameplay annoyance for players who lose all settlements.
- Simple functionality that is easy to understand and use.
⚠️ Cons
- Very low endorsement count (2) and download count (93) indicate limited community validation.
- Last updated in January 2024, which may mean it is not actively maintained.
- Niche functionality may not be relevant to most players who rarely lose all settlements.
This mod is for players of strategy games who frequently find themselves or their allies losing all settlements and want to avoid the frustration of broken diplomatic agreements. It is not for players who rarely experience such situations or who prefer more comprehensive overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Always back up your game files before installing any mod, even a tiny database change.
- Check the mod's compatibility with your game version, as database changes can break with updates.
- If you encounter issues, verify that the mod is placed in the correct mod folder for your game.
