More More More Performance! (T3MP)

A performance mod: it makes the game itself run faster. Install it, load your save, done - the simulation runs up to about 1. 5x faster, always on (measured on a large late-game colony). Need even more? Press Shift+P for turbo: it skips animations while you fast-forward, up to about 2. 4x. Press Shift+P again (or just open the Esc menu) to go back to normal. NEW - Smooth mode (Shift+O): very high fast-forward can feel choppy because the machine is chasing raw speed. Press Shift+O to flip the priority - it holds a steady, smooth ~30 fps and automatically runs the simulation as fast as it can while staying that smooth, up to the speed button you pressed (never faster, never below x1). Smooth mode manages the frame cap for you, so there is nothing to change in your settings; press Shift+O again to turn it off. While it is on, the iSPD number auto-adjusts as it tunes the speed - that is the mode working. BONUS: as your colony grows, vanilla secretly weakens your speed buttons - on a big colony the fastest button runs at less than HALF of its real speed. This mod removes that hidden slowdown: the speed you press is the speed you get, and even on a medium or large colony the speed feel of your very first days on a fresh map comes right back. HOW can it be faster without changing anything? The biggest win, in plain words: every step of game time, the game must give tens of thousands of things - every beaver, building and tree - their turn to act. Vanilla keeps that list in a form that is slow to walk through and re-checks every entry one by one. This mod lays the same list out flat in memory, in the exact same order, so the CPU can sweep straight through it. Same turns, same order, same results - just far less bookkeeping per step. A small meter in the bottom-right shows it working: rSPD = the speed you are actually getting, iSPD = the speed you asked for, UPS = simulation updates per second. It does not change gameplay: the simulation results are exactly the same as vanilla
