Academic's Miners Of Mountains (Academic's MoM) Ever wanted to actually dig into the mountain instead of building around it? That's the whole idea here. MOM adds a proper excavation system: mark a terrain block, a builder walks over with a pickaxe, and digs it out. The block is gone, the pickaxe is spent, and you've got a hole where the mountain used to be. It's faction-split. Folktails knock together wooden pickaxes at the Lumber Mill (2 logs each). IronTeeth do it the IronTeeth way, forging advanced metal pickaxes at the Metalsmith. Either way, you place an Excavation Flag from the Landscaping menu on whatever block you want gone, and the rest happens on its own. A few things to keep in mind: One pickaxe per block, consumed by the dig, so digging out a mountain is a real supply chain, not a free button. No required mods. Drop it in and go. This started life as part of Academic's Rainborn and grew enough to stand on its own, so here it is as its own thing.
