Sprint While Reloading

Allows you to sprint while reloading with ALL weapons, not just pistols.

Description

In vanilla The Outer Worlds 2, only pistols allow you to sprint while reloading. This mod extends that functionality to every weapon type in the game, making combat flow much smoother.

Affected Weapons

• []Assault Rifles (AR) - LongBurst, Mobility, Standard

  []Sniper Rifles (SR) - Accurate, Damage

  []Marksman Rifles (MR) - Frontline, Standard, Tactical

  []Shotguns (SG) - Fullauto, Pump, Semiauto

  []SMGs - HeavyBurst, WildSpray

  []LMGs - FastHeat, LightBurst, Slowbeam

  []Launchers (LNCH) - Lockon, Multi

  Installation

  1. Download and extract the mod files

  2. Copy all 3 files (.pak, .ucas, .utoc) to your game's ~mods folder (create it if you don't have it):

  ...\The Outer Worlds 2\Arkansas\Content\Paks\~mods

  3. Launch the game and enjoy!

  Uninstallation

  Simply delete the mod files from your Paks folder:

    []SprintWhileReloading_P.utoc

    Compatibility

      []Should be compatible with most mods that don't modify too much in weapon base blueprints

      Technical Details

      This mod adds the following properties to each weapon's base blueprint:

      • []ReloadAllowedMovementActions: 6 (enables run + sprint during reload)

        []AllowedMovementActions: 7 (enables walk + run + sprint)
