A bit about the economy: I went back to a simpler approach where only canonical rarities are used. These and the upcoming sets will also be less profitable in terms of selling cards, because I’ll try to distribute cards within price ranges that match the real market. For example, if a card costs $0. 03, $0. 10, or $0. 37, it will be placed near the lower boundary of the base range. And the vast majority of cards will fall into that category.
What this means in the game: the base boundary for the first rarity — in this case, Common — is a random value between $0. 20 and $1. 15. Because of that, I can’t set an exact price for each card and can’t follow the real market extremely strictly, but the final result feels much more comfortable during gameplay. There won’t be any crazy values unless the cards actually cost that much on the real market (not every card is a Black Lotus).
At the same time, some sets will be released with a multiplier applied to that base price, so players who enjoy working with bigger numbers will also have something to enjoy.
Out of the three D&D sets, the first one will be consistently profitable, while the other two will be consistently negative if you open boxes of 64 booster packs. I want to warn about that in advance. Right now, I’m mainly interested in your feedback on the new economy, the new drop rates, and how the new module feels overall.
Regarding size: changes in EPL no longer allow maximum compression quality. In exchange, we gained the phenomenal ability to play with all EPL sets at once. Previously, even with 18–22 sets, the game was already using 70–80 GB of RAM, so I apologize in advance for the size.
And a small numbers report just for fun: the D&D module contains 2,361 sprites, or 4,722 cards available for hunting and grading.
One more important note: feel free to ping me @Hellhound on our Discord server or on the TCG Overhaul Discord server. I’m on both and always open to feedback, comments, suggestions, or questions.

Magic The Gathering TCG adds MTG card modules to the game, requiring BepInEx, Enhanced Prefab Loader, and Phone - Overhaul. Recent updates introduced Fallout and Warhammer 40000 modules, plus three D&D sets. The mod implements a real-market-based economy for card prices, with canonical rarities and multipliers for some sets.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Active development with recent updates adding new modules (78 endorsements, updated March 2026).
- Realistic economy based on actual card prices, avoiding crazy values unless cards are truly expensive.
- Community-driven set requests, so you can influence what gets added next.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires three separate dependencies (BepInEx, Enhanced Prefab Loader, Phone - Overhaul) which can complicate installation.
- Price balancing is approximate, not exact, so some cards may not match real market values perfectly.
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter card prices or game economy systems.
For MTG fans who want to collect and sell cards in-game with a realistic economy. Also for players who enjoy mods that add collectible content and appreciate regular updates. Skip if you're not into card collecting or prefer mods that don't require multiple dependencies.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have BepInEx installed first, as it's the foundation for the other dependencies.
- Use a mod manager to handle the dependencies and avoid manual file placement errors.
- Check the mod's page for load order instructions, as BepInEx mods often require specific ordering.
