EPL Card Animator

Animated card art for TCG Card Shop Simulator. EPL Card Animator plays multi-frame animations on cards from Enhanced Prefab Loader (EPL) custom sets — in your binder/album, on card tables, and on the wall projectors.

Base-game cards are never touched — only EPL cards that have an animation pack will animate.

Configuration

• []EnableAnimations (default true) — master on/off switch.[/]

  []AnimationFPS (default 20, range 1–30) — playback speed.[/]

  []PreloadFrames (default false) — decode all frames up front during loading for instant playback. Turn off for lower memory use, at the cost of a brief delay the first time each card is shown.[/]

  []VerboseLogging (default false) — extra scan/resolution logging for troubleshooting.

Making Animation Packs (Modders)

Frames are organized by Expansion and CardSpriteName from you EPL .json files:

animated/<Expansion>/<CardSpriteName>/0001.png, 0002.png, 0003.png, ...

<Expansion> — the EPL set's expansion name with spaces removed (e.g. MythicalIsland). It must match the card's ECardExpansionType.

<CardFolder> — must be the card's sprite name: the value in the set's JSON Sprite field.

Frame files — name them so they sort in order: 0001, 0002, … (or 1, 2, …).

Optional: border / foil overrides

By default a card folder matches the card no matter its border or foil state. To target a specific variant, nest it under a border or foil folder:
