SurrounDead v0. 8 Experimental upgraded the game engine from UE 5. 3 to UE 5. 6.

This broke stock UE4SS setups.

This mod download includes a pre-configured UE4SS installation fully compatible with v0. 8 Experimental (including the SurrounDead StaticConstructObject fix).

Just extract and copy — no extra setup needed!

Summary

Restores automatic weather cycling using SurrounDead's Ultra Dynamic Weather system. Weather evolves naturally instead of staying stuck: calm weather is most common, severe weather is rarer and shorter-lived, and larger jumps blend over a longer time.

    Installation — Step by Step

    If you are on v0. 8 Experimental (recommended):

    • []Download the mod file for v0. 8 Experimental.[/]

      []Extract the contents directly into your game's Binaries\Win64 folder. UE4SS and all required settings are already included.[/]

      []Done — launch the game and the mod is ready![/]

      Steam tip: Steam Library > Right-click SurrounDead > Manage > Browse local files, then open SurrounDead\Binaries\Win64\.

      After extract you should see:

      Binaries\Win64\dwmapi.dll

      Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\UE4SS.dll

      Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\WeatherCycleFix\...

      Manual / Legacy Installation

      Only if you already manage UE4SS yourself:

      Step 1: Install UE4SS

      • []Download a recent UE4SS experimental build with UE 5. 6 support from the UE4SS GitHub releases.[/]

        []Extract into SurrounDead\Binaries\Win64\.[/]

        Step 2: SurrounDead UE 5. 6 fix

        • []Copy ue4ss\UE4SS_Signatures\StaticConstructObject.lua from this archive into your UE4SS_Signatures folder.[/]

          []In UE4SS-settings.ini set MajorVersion = 5, MinorVersion = 6, DebugBuild = 0.[/]

          []Keep ConsoleEnabled / GuiConsoleEnabled / GuiConsoleVisible at 0 unless you want debug windows.[/]

          Step 3: Install the mod

          • []Copy ue4ss\Mods\WeatherCycleFix into your Mods folder.[/]

            []Enable WeatherCycleFix : 1 in mods.txt.[/]

            Uninstall

            Delete dwmapi.dll and the ue4ss folder from Binaries\Win64.

            If you use other UE4SS mods, only remove ue4ss\Mods\WeatherCycleFix.
