CL50 Shadow Adder

Description

Adds shadows to headlights of vehicles and weapon flashlights elevating the already killer art style and post processing and helps push the game into a creepier art direction. While seemingly a small detail this significantly changes the visuals and presentation of the game and raising the visuals immensely.

Shadows are surprisingly hard to get a good screenshot of haha. But if you want shadows on your light sources this will do that.

Installation instructions

Drag and drop into \STEAM INSTALLATION\steamapps\common\SurrounDead\SurrounDead\Content\Paks\Mods. Easy Peezy.

This has been tested on a 13600k/3080 machine. The framerate drop has been surprisingly minimal (lowest dip I saw was 6 FPS when running two cars and a flashlight in the same area). I have set the resolution of shadows to half and they still look good and crispy as well. Please report performance issues, I havent noticed anything but every system is different.

Shout outs

StonedSquid for his breakdown of how to make mods for this game and also walking me through the power of UassetGUI. The dude is a G.
