📋 About This Mod
Washed out, Contrasting, Gritty, and Sharp. An ode to OG S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Description:
A gritty, washed out preset for one of the greatest solo dev'd games. Inspired from the OG S. T. A. L. K. E. R. Trilogy, my beloved. I wanted to add certain things already implemented by the game engine such as lens flare, bloom, and dehazing, but I think the game already straight up fyuckin' nails it with that shiyutt.
Shaders Used/Tweaked:
-Chromaticity
-FilmGrain2
-LumaSharpen
-TechniColor1
-Vignette
-Extract download to "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SurrounDead\
-Download ReShade
-Unpack ReShade into a folder somewhere; "C:\ModTools\"
-Run ReShade.exe
-Select SurrounDead.exe(winx64-shipping)
-Select DirectX 10/11/12 as SurrounDead's Render
-Select the "DerelictePreSet.ini" that you extracted into "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SurrounDead\binaries\Win64\"
-Install Complete. Run Game.
-Use the "HOME" key on your keyboard to open up the ReShade GUI to toggle Shaders, and edit Sliders.
-Using ReShade.exe, select SurrounDead.exe, and select the option "uninstall reshade, and it's effects."
-Navigate to "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SurrounDead\binaries\Win64\" and delete any folders or files names "ReShade"
