Upgrade your store from the shop computer.

Tech Tree adds an upgrade tree to Supermarket Simulator. You open it from the computer in your store, like any of the other apps, and spend your money on upgrades for your cashier, your store and your character. Anything you buy actually changes how the game plays, your progress is kept for each save slot, and the menu shows up in whatever language your game is set to.

New versions land there first, with the changelog. It is also where test builds go out before they reach Nexus, and where bug reports get answered - there is a forum with a tag per mod, so nothing gets lost in a chat scroll.

MOD AUTHORS: this tree is open. Put your own upgrades in it.

New in 1. 3. 0 - any BepInEx mod can register its own upgrade lines and they appear in the tree next to the built-in ones. You describe the node and write the effect; Tech Tree does the interface, the pricing, the charging, the selling back, the per-slot saving and the translation into 22 languages.

The tree now unlocks as your shop grows

The biggest release since the tree opened up to other mods. Three things, and each one would have been a version on its own:

• []Upgrades ask for a store level as well as money, so the tree grows with your shop[/]

  []A stutter every two seconds, present since the beginning, found and fixed[/]

  []Full controller support — reach the icon, open it, and navigate the whole tree with a pad[/]

  Everything in 1. 5. 0

  []Upgrades need a store level, not just money - from Fast Feet I at level 1 up to Faster Restocker V at 43. A node you cannot reach yet is greyed out and its card tells you the level it wants. Prefer it the old way? RequireStoreLevel = false in the config.[/]

  []Fixed: a stutter every two seconds - the mod was sweeping every loaded object in the game to find a handful of employees, twice a minute. 40ms down to under 2ms.[/]

  []Full controller support - stick or d-pad to move, LB/RB for tabs, LT/RT for mod sub-tabs, hold A to buy, hold Y to sell, B to close. The help bar shows those while a pad is connected, in your language.[/] <
