Weapon Double XP

A simple BepInEx mod for SULFUR that doubles weapon level-up XP.

This mod is intended for players who want faster weapon progression without changing combat balance directly.

What This Mod Does

Weapon Double XP multiplies weapon XP gain by 2.

100 weapon XP becomes 200 weapon XP.

25 weapon XP becomes 50 weapon XP.

What It Affects

This mod patches the game's weapon XP gain method:

PerfectRandom. Sulfur. Core. Weapons. Weapon. AddExperience(float)

The original game method already skips throwable weapons and melee weapons before applying XP to the weapon's inventory item, so this mod is focused on normal weapon level-up XP.

What It Does NOT Affect

This mod does not change:

  []Enemy spawns[/]

  []Weapon damage[/]

  []Weapon fire rate[/]

  []Weapon durability[/]

  []Melee weapon XP[/]

  Why

  Weapon leveling can take a while during normal gameplay.

  This mod keeps the original progression system intact, but reduces the grind by doubling weapon XP gain.

  Installation

  • []Install BepInEx for SULFUR.[/]

    []Start the game once so BepInEx creates its folders.[/]

    []Place WeaponDoubleXp.dll into: BepInEx/plugins/[/]

    []Start the game.[/]

    Configuration

    This mod has no configuration.

    It always applies a fixed 2x weapon XP multiplier.

    Compatibility

    This mod should be compatible with most other mods.

    If another mod also changes weapon XP through Weapon. AddExperience, the final XP amount may depend on patch order.

    Uninstallation

    Remove this file:

    BepInEx/plugins/WeaponDoubleXp.dll

      ## SULFUR Config Localization Support

      This mod includes localization files for SULFUR Config.

      This localization support is only for the in-game configuration page provided by SULFUR Config. It localizes the mod name, config sections, setting names, and setting descriptions shown in the config UI.

      It does not change the game’s own text, item names, dialogue, or gameplay content.

      Supported SULFUR Config languages:

      - Simplified Chinese

      - Portuguese
