The Mercurian Base

Background Story

The Mercurian Base is an emergency outpost initially built by the surviving crew of the Mercury II spaceship. They managed to survive for 30 years. Their existence was a disgrace to Sol Trans-Gov. When they found out there were survivors, they sent troops and seized their base. No one knows for sure what happened to them after that. Until the construction of Outpost Omega, their whereabouts remained a mystery. Although their base was still in good condition, neither Alterra nor Degasi crew wanted to stay there. The Mercurians managed to build a phase gate connecting the Mercurian Base to the base where the Lifepod crashed. Their exact purpose for constructing this base is still unknown.

• []Accessing the Mercurian Base can be done through the phase gate at the base near the Lifepod or by heading to Outpost Omega. The base is equipped with a functioning Nuclear Reactor, Seatruck, and Prawnsuit.
