The Epsilon Facility was an underwater facility used for docking and charging of excavation equipment. Its other purpose was to provide a habitat for scientists studying the minerals of planet 4546B and also to store all the mined resources from the Koppa Mining Site, that were to be redistributed among all the other outposts and labs, when needed. The Epsilon Facility was hastily abandoned by all of its inhabitants due to a request for more staff, that was needed in the Phi Robotics Center.
When Robin Ayou (you) arrives on planet 4546B, the station has been already abandoned for a long time and cleared by the scientists from all the non-essential equipment and collected resources. Over the months, after the scientists moved out, the facility was damaged from the frequent eruptions, which lead to complete flooding and many leaks, but all of the interior equipment remained intact.
