Transform any creature in Subnautica: Below Zero into your loyal companion! This mod lets you capture, tame, and command all the creatures to follow you, protect you, and assist in combat. Whether you want a friendly Pengwing waddling beside you or a powerful Shadow Leviathan as your guardian, the Companions Mod makes it possible.

Your companions will follow you across land and water, defend you from hostile creatures, and stay by your side throughout your Arctic adventure while still retaining the vanilla experience!

Of course with the sole exception of the Ice Worm!

Installation Instructions

Prerequisites

• []BepInEx 5.x - Download and install Tobey's BepInEx Pack for Subnautica Below Zero[/]

  []Nautilus - Download and install the Nautilus modding framework[/]

Installation Steps

• []Download the latest version of Companions Mod[/]

  []Extract the folder[/]

  []Navigate to your Subnautica Below Zero installation folder[/]

  []Place in:

  Subnautica Below Zero\BepInEx\plugins\[/]

  []Launch the game - the mod will automatically load[/]

Verification

• []Press Tab in-game to open the PDA[/]

  []Look for the "Companions" tab at the bottom[/]

  []If you see it, the mod is installed correctly![/]

Core Gameplay

• []Capture Any Creature - Tame friendly creatures or enable "Capture Anything" mode to tame hostile ones too[/]

  []Follow Commands - Your companion follows you everywhere: on land, in water, inside bases->(only for pengwing or Snowstalker)[/]
